TuneHaven

What is free and what Pro adds

The whole tuner is free, permanently, and that list is dated and versioned. Pro is a one-time unlock of extras. Exactly where the line sits and why it is written down.

The short version: the entire tuner is free, along with a fundamentals course for every instrument and all the practice tools. Pro is a one-time unlock that adds depth on top. There is no subscription and there are no ads.

Why the free list is written down

Because “it’s free” is worth nothing as a promise. Plenty of apps are free until the version where they are not, and the thing that moves behind the paywall is usually the thing you had built a habit around.

So the free list above is published as the Free Forever Charter: dated, versioned, and with an add-only changelog. Entries may join that list. Nothing may ever leave it. If a future version moved chromatic mode or the fundamentals courses behind Pro, the charter’s own history would show it, and you could point at it.

That is the whole mechanism. It is not a trust exercise, it is a citation.

What we are not promising

Chromatic mode stays free. Custom tunings stay free. Accessibility stays free. Those are on the list.

New things built later may be free or may be Pro, and the charter does not commit them in advance. It commits that what is free today stays free, which is the part that actually protects you.
